Lions club launched
The newly formed Withcott Helidon Lions Club held their charter dinner in Helidon on Saturday 13 February to celebrate the formation of the club.
President Mark Lavender said it was a pleasure to have been voted in as president of the new club and it already had preliminary plans in place for many community service projects in the Withcott and Helidon communities.
The club meet each second and fourth Monday of the month at the Withcott Hotel, 6.30pm for a 7pm Start. Those interested in participating in the club simply need to just turn up at one of the meetings.
