Last month’s Councillor Corner with Cr Jim McDonald focussed on the fact that from July 1 Council is no longer responsible for water & sewerage.
All staff working in that department have transferred over to the new entity of Queensland Urban Utilities with all enquiries regarding water and sewerage to be directed to this new entity.
Congratulations to Dr Janus van Heerden and his team at the Withcott Medical Centre for their new improved facilities in Jones Road.It is fantastic to see their dream of a new state-of-the-art facility come to reality to service the medical needs of our growing community.
